Role Description:

Manage the overall site quantity surveying activities including certify contract payment applications. Maintain the procedure of variation prime cost & provisional sum adjustments. Review and finalize the contractor BOQ. Maintain the contract documents, bonds and insurance duly updated.


Responsibilities include-

  • Review and finalize the contractor bill of quantities in line with the contract documents with fair market price and proper price distributing.
  • Verify the contractor interim payment application with site team and planning department prior to certify within the time frame as per Finance and Audit requirements.
  • Provide anticipated payment request to the Management for projects wise to reserve and maintain the better cash flow.
  • Comply the procedure of Variation, adjustment, varied works, EOT, claims, LD, delay, bonds and insurances in accordance with (Part II & I) Conditions of Contract for works of Civil Engineering, Construction (FIDIC) Fourth Edition – 1987.
  • Verify the contractor statement of completion and final account and certify with the first half of retention as per Contract.
  • Maintain NCR contra charges logs to deduct from the contractor payment.
  • Giving commercial and contractor advise to the superiors to resolve the dispute with the Contractor and nominated Sub-contractors.
  • Establish the way to direct payment to the Nominated contractor.
  • Assist in preparation of Contractual correspondences.
  • Keep updated track/log of all payments, variations, EOT’s
  • Execute any other tasks that may be directed by superior


Here's what you'll need

  • BSc in Civil Engineering or Quantity Survey.
  • Computer and Software Proficiency - Autocad, MS office package
  • Certification/ RICS a plus
