Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Landscape projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in quantity take-offs, cost estimating, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
• Monitor project costs and control expenditure throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare tender documents and assist in contractor selection
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts and variations
• Measure and value construction work completed on site
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
• Manage claims, variations, and change orders
• Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements
• Provide regular cost reports and financial forecasts to management
• Work closely with site teams to ensure cost-effective project delivery

Skills and Competencies

• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good understanding of construction methods and materials
• Knowledge of contracts and procurement processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in cost management software and MS Excel

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.
• Landscape/Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Sound knowledge of construction.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
