Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage project costs, prepare estimates, handle billing processes, and ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of construction contracts, and experience in infrastructure or civil projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.

· Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope documents.

· Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and rate analysis.

· Manage client billing, subcontractor billing, and reconciliation.

· Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports.

· Track material consumption and prepare variance reports.

· Assist in tender preparation and contract documentation.

· Evaluate variations, change orders, and claims.

· Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams.

· Ensure compliance with contractual and financial regulations.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

· 3–8 years of experience in quantity surveying (infrastructure/civil projects preferred).

· Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and billing processes.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software.

· Understanding of construction contracts and tendering procedures.

· Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.

Technical Skills

· Quantity take-off and measurement from drawings

· BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation

· Cost control and budget monitoring

· Tendering and contract documentation

· Variation and claims management

· Material reconciliation and consumption tracking

· Knowledge of CPWD / PWD / Infrastructure standards

· Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)

· Familiarity with AutoCAD (for quantity verification)

· Knowledge of ERP / construction management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
