Quantity Surveyor

Position Title: Quantity Surveyor

Qualification: B.E (Civil) / DAE (Civil)Experience: Minimum 5–8 Years (High-Rise Projects Preferred)
Location: Hubco Power Plant

Job Summary:

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for cost estimation, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, contractor billing verification, and overall cost control of high-rise and residential construction projects. The role requires strong analytical, financial, and site coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.
• Verify contractor and subcontractor bills (RA Bills / IPCs).
• Monitor project budget and control cost overruns.
• Prepare rate analysis for labor and materials.
• Maintain record of material consumption and reconciliation.
• Assist Project Manager in budget planning and forecasting.
• Evaluate variation orders and additional work claims.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and procurement team.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and progress statements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of high-rise building construction
• Expertise in rate analysis and cost control
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Knowledge of market labor & material rates
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & MS Office
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (preferred)
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Good communication and reporting abilities

Pay: From Rs80,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
