Quantity Surveyor (Civil & MEP)

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly competent, hands-on Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a strong background in Civil Engineering who is also capable of managing MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) project costs. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of project financials, estimations, and billings from start to finish.

Important Note: candidates who are currently employed and cannot join immediately need not to apply. We are looking for individuals who are available to start right away.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimation & BOQs: Prepare accurate project cost estimations and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) by analyzing civil and MEP drawings.
• Billing & Payments: Manage the entire billing cycle, including project billing, verifying subcontractor invoices, and preparing interim running bills (IPCs).
• Quantity Takeoff: Perform detailed material takeoffs and reconciliations for both civil works and MEP/electrical systems.
• Cost Control: Monitor live project expenses, handle variation/change orders, and manage contractual claims.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: BE, BS, or B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Candidates with core Civil Engineering work exposure are highly preferred).
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid, hands-on experience in construction or contracting environments.
• Technical Skills: Must be highly proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel (Advanced formulas for costing).
• Core Competencies: Proven expertise in Project Estimation, BOQ Preparation, and Project Billing.

• Fast learner and passion for civil & electrical engineering
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Proficiency in English
