Job Summary

We are a 25 years established stone contracting business seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost estimation, material calculation, and project cost control specifically related to marble, granite, and natural stone works. You will be responsible for managing all costs relating to our building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare precise Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for stone, marble, and granite works based on architectural drawings.
• Conduct accurate site measurements and material estimations to minimize wastage.
• Prepare and submit interim payment applications and final accounts.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor claims and vendor invoices.
• Monitor project costs, report on profitability, and identify potential financial risks.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and site engineers to ensure variations are recorded and priced accurately.
• Source and negotiate prices with suppliers for various stone materials.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Prior experience in the stone contracting, marble, or facade industry is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Proficiency in measurement software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: 4,000 - 5,000 AED
