Role Objective:

To ensure accurate estimation, budgeting, quantity verification, and cost control across all stages of building construction—from pre-contract planning to post-contract execution and billing.

1. Quantity Surveying (QS)

· Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from GFC drawings (civil, structural, architectural, MEP).

· Prepare and validate BOQs as per project scope.

· Verify contractor RA bills and perform reconciliation with executed work.

· Conduct joint measurements with site engineers and contractors.

· Maintain records of variations, material wastage, and consumption.

2. Cost Estimation & Rate Analysis

· Prepare cost estimates during concept, pre-tender, and execution stages.

· Perform detailed rate analysis for items like RCC, plastering, tiling, MEP, etc., based on current market rates.

· Develop item-wise cost databases for benchmarking.

3. Budgeting & Cost Control

· Prepare project budgets and update cost-to-complete (CTC) reports.

· Track project cost against budget and report variances.

· Highlight cost overruns and assist in developing mitigation strategies.

4. Procurement & Commercial Support

· Provide quantity and cost data for issuing work orders and purchase orders.

· Support procurement in comparative analysis of quotations.

· Evaluate change orders and assess financial implications.

5. Billing & Reconciliation

· Verify and certify contractor/client bills.

· Reconcile material and financial records for monthly cost tracking.

· Prepare client invoices with supporting documentation, if applicable.

6. Reporting & Documentation

· Maintain cost registers, quantity logs, billing trackers, and MIS reports.

· Update project costing dashboards for management.

· Assist in audits, cost reports, and commercial documentation.

Key Skills Required:

· Accuracy, commercial awareness, documentation, stakeholder coordination

· MS Excel (advanced), AutoCAD (basic), ERP (SAP/FARVISION/Tally).

Qualification:

Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

Certifications: PG in Construction Management / QS Certification (optional )

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
