About the Role
GSOQ is looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Quantity Surveyor with proven Oil & Gas EPC experience. The role involves managing the commercial and contractual aspects of E&I works, ensuring accuracy in cost control and compliance with EPC standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs, cost breakdown structures, and tender documents specific to electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs for cables, cable trays, lighting, grounding, instrumentation devices, and related materials.
• Administer contracts under EPC and FIDIC conditions, including management of variations and claims.
• Track electrical and instrumentation costs and prepare periodic cost reports.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations for E&I scope.
• Support tendering process with comprehensive cost analysis for E&I works.
• Assess cost impacts of design changes, instrument revisions, and electrical modifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to ensure accurate cost control.
• Prepare final accounts and assist with project close-out.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of QS experience in Oil & Gas EPC E&I projects – mandatory.
• Strong command of MS Excel and familiarity with AutoCAD and E&I drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical and instrumentation BOQs, cost estimation, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with EPC and FIDIC contract conditions is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Mandatory Requirements

• Oil & Gas project experience is mandatory.
• Currently based in Qatar.
• Valid NOC and transferable visa.
• Ready to join immediately.
