Quantity Surveyor for commercial interiors

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and material take-offs for commercial interior projects.
• Conduct tendering processes, including floating enquiries, analyzing quotations, negotiating with vendors/subcontractors, and finalizing contracts.
• Monitor project budgets, prepare cash flow forecasts, and ensure cost control against allocated budgets.
• Conduct site measurements and validate contractor bills, progress claims, and payment certificates.
• Evaluate variations, change orders, and claims, ensuring they are documented, justified, and approved.
• Maintain cost reports, MIS, and project financial records for management review.
• Liaise with project managers, designers, procurement, and contractors to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
• Provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs without compromising on quality or design intent.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, statutory regulations, and company policies.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of commercial interiors, fit-outs, finishes, and MEP works.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software/tools.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and numerical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communicator with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in commercial interior/fit-out projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
