Designation: Asst. Manager/Manager - Quantity Surveying - Civil
Experience: 6 to 10 years of Quantity Surveying (Civil) experience in Residential & Commercial building projects. Good to have experience in Interiors and Fit-out.
Desired Skills:
· Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil engineering and quantity surveying, or a related field.
· Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess costs and manage budgets.
· Construction Knowledge: Sound knowledge of construction methodologies and regulations.
· Interpersonal Skills: Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
· Organizational Skills: Ability to organize, plan, and strategize effectively.
Competence & Expertise:
· Excellent knowledge in Post-Contract Quantity Surveying in Interiors and fit-out
· Excellent knowledge in understanding of drawing for preparation of detailed measurements of Civil, Interiors, Bar Bending Schedule (BBS)
· Pre & Post Contract project experience.
· Aware of IS codes and other standards related to QS.
· Software Skill AutoCAD, MS word and MS Excel Required.
· Have basic knowledge and able to involve in MEP services discussions and can able to work with team in coordination with other services.
· Responsible for correctness, accuracy of documents and reports prepared and timely delivery of the assignments
· Co-ordination with client /contractors/ Consultant
· Good working knowledge of standard Forms of Measurement.
Key Responsibilities:
· Cost management skills to estimate and manage costs for construction projects effectively.
· Technical knowledge to understand construction plans and blueprints, and the ability to use related software.
· Review and evaluate reconciliations, QS reports and other reports for client reporting.
· Interpersonal skills to liaise with contractors, clients, and other professionals involved in the project.
· Analytical thinking to review architectural plans and identify potential cost implications, risks, and benefits.
· Communication skills to negotiate with suppliers and contractors, and to provide clear cost reports to clients and project managers.
· Project management skills to oversee all stages of the construction process and ensure that costs are in line with forecasts.
· Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
· Legal understanding to advise on contracts, warranties, and professional risks.
· Knowledge of construction, materials, and industry updates to provide accurate estimates and project progress reports.
· Analyzing terms and conditions in the contract.
· Predicting potential risks in the project and taking precautions to mitigate such.
· Forecasting the costs of different materials needed for the project.
· Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets and other documentation.
· Tender management including preparation of bills of quantities, contract conditions and assembly of tender documents
· Contract management and contractual advice
· Valuation of construction work
· Claims and dispute management

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
