Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both pre- and post-tender activities related to MEP works within the building construction sector. The role involves cost estimation, tendering, contract management, and project cost control for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and BOQs for MEP works during tendering.
• Evaluate MEP subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison sheets.
• Assist in preparation of tender documents, cost plans, and budgetary proposals.
• Participate in value engineering and cost optimization processes.
• Manage post-contract activities including measurement, interim payment certificates, and variation claims.
• Prepare and review contractual correspondences, claims, and final accounts.
• Coordinate closely with design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure cost efficiency.
• Maintain updated records of project costs, budget reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, contract terms, and project specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in MEP quantity surveying within a building construction firm.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction contracts (FIDIC preferred), and cost management principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.

Preferred:

• Experience with GCC-based construction projects (if applicable).
• Membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS) is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
