Quantity Surveyor – Tendering & Fit-Out (Stone & Marble Experience)

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in tender preparation and pre-contract cost estimation for construction and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in stone and marble works and a solid background in handling fit-out tenders within the GCC region.

This role requires a commercially aware professional capable of managing the tender process, cost control, and contract administration efficiently.

Key ResponsibilitiesTendering & Pre-Contract (Primary Focus)

• Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for construction and fit-out projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope and pricing requirements.
• Assist in preparing comprehensive and competitive tender submissions.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, especially for stone & marble works.
• Conduct site visits prior to tender submission when required.
• Coordinate with design and project teams to ensure accurate pricing.
• Identify risks, exclusions, and cost-saving opportunities during tender stage.

Post-Contract & Commercial Duties

• Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts.
• Manage variations and assist in claims preparation.
• Verify site progress and quantities executed.
• Maintain proper documentation of contracts and cost records.
• Ensure compliance with project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Construction & Interior Fit-Out within the GCC.
• Strong hands-on experience in tender preparation.
• Experience in stone and marble works is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of FIDIC and GCC contract practices.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be locally available and ready to join immediately.
