Quantity Surveyor(Structural)

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing costs and contracts of construction projects from initial estimates to final accounts. This includes cost planning, budgeting, procurement, and valuation of work to ensure efficient control of construction costs and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Track project variations and adjust budgets accordingly.
  • Monitor and report project progress against financial targets.
  • Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Conduct risk assessments, value management, and cost control measures.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably with exposure to high-rise building projects in Dubai.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and legal regulations in the UAE.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
