Job Title: QBO and Accounting Specialist - Full time

Location: Onsite

Job Summary:

Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QBO & Accounting Specialist on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing QuickBooks Online (QBO) system, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial data. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in QBO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and summaries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Collaborate with the client's team to resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with QuickBooks Online (QBO)..
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online, with a strong understanding of its features and capabilities.
  • Excel skills, including the ability to use lookups, pivot tables and other formulas.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Work Environment:
  • This is a wholly in-office job.
  • May require overtime during peak periods (e.g., month-end, year-end).
