The primary function of this role is to provide pre-sales support and draft quotations to assist the local sales organization (CSOs) by serving as the main point of contact across multiple channels, including CRM, email, telephone, web ticket, and chat.
Key responsibilities include supporting local sales teams in various aspects by offering comprehensive and professional assistance for tendering, quotations follow-up, and technical solutions in relation with the EATON Electrical portfolio. This involves understanding customer needs, preparing and delivering customized proposals, and ensuring that all technical and commercial requirements are met.
The role also entails interfacing with local sales colleagues, area managers, and partners such as panel builders, wholesalers, distributors, designers, and sales or service representatives, as well as specific final customers when necessary. The objective is to efficiently and effectively manage a wide range of pre-sales functions, ensuring that all stakeholders receive the necessary support and information to make informed decisions.
1. Manage technical inquiries related to delivery-to-order (DTO) and standard configuration-to order solutions (CTO) within products and systems from Eaton Electrical portfolio.
2. Draft technical quotes with a suggested net selling price based on electrical diagrams, lists of material, tender documents, technical data, product lists from competitor’s catalogues.
3. Manage cross references and provide technical support in choosing the components among the EATON product portfolio and competitors.
4. Assist local sales organization with product selection.
5. Design, calculation and draft of technical solutions and quotations (Bid Manager, Configurators, CPQ and other engineering tools).
