Ranch Hand/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Ranch Hand/Laborer to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the ranch’s operations, caring for animals, operating farm machinery, and supporting various maintenance tasks. Responsibilities

• Assist with animal husbandry duties, including feeding and general care for livestock
• Operate heavy equipment and farm machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge.
• Handle heavy lifting of supplies or equipment as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including barns, storage sheds, and equipment yards
• Build and repair fence
• Valid drivers license

Skills

• Prior experience supervising or leading small teams in agricultural or ranch settings is highly desirable
• Strong mechanical knowledge with ability to troubleshoot and repair farm machinery and equipment
• Extensive animal husbandry skills with a focus on animal care and handling techniques
• Ability to operate tractors and heavy equipment safely; certification is a plus
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and performing basic maintenance tasks
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards
