Rare Coins & Collectibles Sales Associate

We seek a passionate and knowledgeable Rare Coins & Collectibles Specialist to identify, authenticate, research, acquire, and manage a diverse collection of high-value, rare collectibles, ensuring their proper preservation and contributing to the overall success of our business by maximizing their market value through sales and expert advice to clients.Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and Acquisition:
• Actively search for rare collectibles across various markets, including auctions, private collectors, dealers, and online platforms.
• Conduct thorough research to verify authenticity, provenance, and market value of potential acquisitions.
• Negotiate purchase terms with sellers to secure the best possible deals for the company.
• Collaborate with the appraisal team to accurately assess the condition and value of potential acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers
• Experience in retail sales and stocking merchandise
• Basic math skills and familiarity with retail math
• Ability to operate POS systems and conduct product demonstrations
• Supervisory experience is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
