What are we looking for in this position?

•Carry out supplier relations on behalf of Ford Otosan, represent our company in the presence of suppliers, and take an active role in the business development activities of our suppliers.


•Manage the processes of research, preliminary negotiations, sourcing agreements, price updates and documentation with suppliers.


•Ensure the procurement of raw materials necessary for production continuity and timely project implementation by working in coordination with manufacturing, suppliers, external warehouses, and transportation service providers, considering cost factors.


•Monitor the payment/receivable processes with suppliers and resolve any potential issues.


•Create business strategies for raw materials, communicate with related units within the company and make joint evaluations.


•Participate in meetings related to quality, logistics, process, and cost improvement, both internal and external, according to task distribution within the team. Work in coordination with quality, product development, IT, manufacturing units, and suppliers to resolve issues.


•Create cost reduction ideas, support the proposals related with raw materials, coordinate and launch the cost reduction activities in accordance with the targets.


•Act in accordance with the company's procedures and instructions in the monitored processes.


Technical & Behavioral Skills and Competencies

• BSc Degree in Engineering,

•Experienced or interested in Purchasing,

•Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude,

•Strong persuasion skills,

•High oral and written communication, good at human relations,

•Excellent negotiation skills,

•Advanced level in MS Office programs,

•Advanced level of English,

•Good at time and business management,

•Innovative, dynamic and energetic,

•Able to travel both domestic and international.
