Job Summary:
To oversee the procurement, storage, and usage of raw materials within a manufacturing or production environment as well as ensure materials meet quality standards, are properly inventoried, and are available to meet production schedules, while also managing personnel and promoting a safe work environment and related entire activities within the concerning Raw material storage section of Bakery comply with company policy and procedures.
Key Accountability:

Ensuring accurate inventory levels, proper storage, and efficient handling of raw materials.

Receives, stores, and issues supplies and equipment and compiles records of supply transactions and ensures that the supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices.

Familiar with description (specification, unit of quantity, application) of material to provide the right materials requisitioned.

Familiar with location of material in order to locate and issue the requisitioned material in time and of the right quantity

Issue materials as per approved procedures to ensure materials issued are as per requisitions received and delivery is made to authorized personnel.

A physical classification system applies to items of similar nature and are stored in predesignated locations for ease of access and optimization of time and efforts in material handling.

Implement and maintain a filing system that ensures Goods Issued and other documents are preserved and easily retrieved.

Maintain cleanness of the warehouse, Forklifts as well as Sanitation activities should be performed at the beginning and end of the shift on daily basis.

Strictly implement the FIFO and FEFO system as well as traceability system.

Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Strictly follow the WH Manager instructions to fulfil the routine production activities.

Motivate and impose the implementation of policies concerning Company’s hygiene and sanitation standards to maintain the hygiene on the concerned area and machineries.

Maintain and endorse high standards of personal appearance, uniforms and hygiene always.

Perform the operations comply with company processing procedures and specifications.

Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions so that personal safety/the safety of others is not jeopardized, and a minimum level of product/service quality and environmental impact can be guaranteed.

Maintain all records and forms comply with Company as well as FSSC 22000 standards.

Communicate with WH manager to take corrective action on nonconforming products, Quarantined products as well as fault in machinery.

Maintain the records and reports to the Bakery warehouse supervisor at the end of the shift on daily basis.

Participate in training programs to improve skills and competencies.
Required Qualification, Experience, and skills:
-
Must have Degree or Diploma with working experience in Food industry field and Food processing background.

Must have technical experience in the Warehousing and Logistic field of food industry and basic knowledge of Food Safety Principles, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

Ability to understand warehouse management system and activities, handle supplies and to work independently.

Working knowledge and understanding of the legislation and requirements

Ability to drive forklifts.

Fluent in written and spoken English required

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in food manufacturing field
