RCM - Piping

Requirement: RCM – Piping (Resident Construction Manager)

Project Location:

IOCL Panipat Refinery, Haryana

Qualification:

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with extensive refinery experience may be considered

Experience:

12–18 years of total experience in piping construction
Minimum 5–8 years as RCM / Construction Manager / Senior Piping Engineer
Mandatory experience in refineries / IOCL or other PSU refinery projects

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Overall management and execution of piping construction activities at site
* Coordination with IOCL engineers, PMC, consultants, and subcontractors
* Planning and monitoring piping fabrication, erection, testing, flushing, and commissioning
* Review and approval of method statements, work procedures, and execution plans
* Monitoring project schedules, productivity, and manpower deployment
* Ensuring compliance with IOCL standards, QAP, HSE norms, and statutory requirements
* Resolution of site issues related to drawings, materials, interfaces, and work fronts
* Certification of subcontractor bills and progress measurement
* Participation in review meetings, safety audits, and progress discussions

Technical Expertise Required:

* Strong knowledge of P&ID, isometrics, GA drawings
* Hands-on experience in CS, SS, alloy steel piping
* Knowledge of ASME, ASTM, IS codes, refinery construction practices
* Experience in hydro testing, reinstatement, pre-commissioning activities
* Understanding of piping supports, stress basics, and material control

Skills:

* Strong leadership and decision-making ability
* Excellent coordination and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple agencies and high-pressure refinery environments

Salary / Engagement:

* As per experience and project norms (negotiable)
