Professional Billing & Collections

We are seeking a Business Analyst to play a critical part in helping senior leaders understand performance drivers, identify risk, and opportunity to make informed decisions within our Professional Billing & Collections organization. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning complex data into actionable insights.

Daily Focus

Analyze complex operational and financial data to explain performance trends, identify root causes, and inform both tactical actions and longer-term strategy.

Perform root cause analysis and summarize findings to provide clear, actionable insights for leadership

Work closely with multiple levels of leadership and operational teams to support continuous improvement

Deliver high quality reporting and analysis to drive operational and financial outcomes

Support ad hoc analysis and ongoing performance monitoring in a dynamic environment

Key Relationships

Reports to: Executive Director of Professional Billing & Collections

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

Strong analytical skills with advanced data retrieval and analysis experience

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access (SQL knowledge required)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly

Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff

Proven ability to take initiative, manage priorities, and meet objectives independently

Experience with healthcare revenue cycle workflows (billing, follow-up, denials, collections) is preferred.
