To strengthen our finance and research team in Muscat, we are seeking a detail-oriented R&D Finance Analyst to oversee financial planning and analysis for research projects.

Role Overview

The R&D Finance Analyst will be responsible for managing financial processes related to research and development activities, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and the ability to collaborate with scientists, engineers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze financial performance of R&D projects.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for research initiatives.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Support audits and provide documentation as required.
• Develop financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
• Provide financial insights to support innovation and strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within R&D or technology sectors.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Pay: Up to RO2,300.000 per month
