R&D Manager

About the Role:

The R&D Manager will lead new product development for the U.S. market, focusing on coconut milk, oat milk, and related beverage innovations. Working with cross-border R&D teams and third-party labs, this role will drive local flavor adaptation, regulatory compliance, and go-to-market readiness.

Responsibilities:

- Lead development and optimization of plant-based beverages tailored to U.S. consumer taste and FDA standards.

- Conduct lab-scale formulation, sensory testing, and shelf-life studies.

- Source ingredients and collaborate with QA and Procurement for commercialization.

- Ensure product labeling complies with CFR Title 21 (FDA), allergen guidelines, and nutritional disclosure.

- Support pilot runs and scale-up with co-manufacturers or OEMs.

Qualifications:

- Master’s or PhD in Food Science, Food Engineering, or Nutrition.

- R&D Manager is experienced in dairy and or beverage product development

- Familiarity with U.S. labeling regulations, GRAS ingredients, and food safety certifications.

- Ability to manage projects cross-functionally and globally.

- Experience with product launch in U.S. retail or DTC channels is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,051.00 - $90,276.46 per year
