ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cook with Color is a fast-paced, fashion-forward kitchenware, cookware, and appliance brand that manufactures and sells to top retailers across the U.S. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Sourcing Manager to lead our kitchen electrics sourcing and product development initiatives. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, maintaining strong factory relationships, and ensuring a high-quality product line.

Sourcing & Product Development

• Lead the end-to-end sourcing process for kitchen electrics, from initial factory identification to product launch.
• Partner with design, marketing, and product development teams to translate seasonal trends and concepts into compelling, on-trend products.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new product opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends in small kitchen appliances.
• Manage a calendar of key milestones to ensure all deliverables are met on time and aligned with buyer expectations.

Factory Management & Global Sourcing

• Identify, vet, and build strong relationships with overseas factories, primarily in China, that specialize in kitchen electrics.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external factory partners to ensure clear communication and efficient execution of projects.
• Conduct regular factory visits to ensure compliance with quality standards and production timelines. Travel to China is a requirement for this role.
• Negotiate costing, lead times, and terms to secure the best possible partnerships.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

• Deep industry knowledge and a proven track record of sourcing from overseas, with direct experience working with factories in China.
• Experience working with or for companies like Gourmia, Chefman, Bella (by Gather), Cuisinart, Hamilton Beach, Breville, or SharkNinja is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally, with a focus on travel to China.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• High attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional communication and follow-up skills across departments and with external partners.
• A passion for product, brand presentation, and a collaborative, "own-it" attitude
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Exceptional Organizational Skills: planning, expediting, prioritizing, managing multiple tasks and meeting corporate deadlines.
• Ability to work autonomously and effective time management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or related field with 5+ years of experience in global sourcing, product development, or a similar role within the consumer goods industry, with a focus on small kitchen appliances or kitchen electrics.
