- Read with proper voice modulation, expressions, and pacing.
- Engage students with storytelling techniques such as gestures, tone, and pauses.
- Encourage active listening and participation from students.
- Ask guiding questions before, during, and after the story.
3. Developing Language Skills
- Teach new vocabulary and sentence structures from the story.
- Support students in improving pronunciation and fluency.
- Encourage students to retell the story or share their thoughts.
- Build comprehension through discussions, summarizing, and prediction activities.
4. Classroom Engagement and Management
- Maintain a calm, positive, and interactive learning environment.
- Ensure all students are attentive and involved.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively during sessions.
- Promote confidence, respect, and collaboration among learners.
5. Assessment and Feedback
- Observe students’ listening, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Maintain basic records of participation and progress.
- Communicate observations with parents or the academic coordinator when required.
