Position Overview
The Accountant & Office Administrator is responsible for managing the accounting and financial operations of the company and its subsidiaries. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial records, VAT and tax submissions, bank reconciliations, and procurement activities. The position also involves supporting real estate operations through tenant management, contract handling, and payment collections.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping for all company entities and subsidiaries.
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper classification and documentation.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all business accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including payment processing and collections.
- Record and register all sales transactions in the financial system accurately and on time.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required by management.
2. Taxation & Compliance
- Handle VAT filings, reconciliations, and ensure full compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Support corporate tax preparation, filing, and coordination with external auditors or tax advisors.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date tax documentation to ensure timely submission and audit readiness.
3. Procurement & Office Administration
- Manage office procurement, including vendor selection, quotations, and purchase orders.
- Maintain proper documentation for all procurement transactions and supplier agreements.
- Ensure efficient operation of the backend office and administrative functions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective procurement.
4. Real Estate Operations Support
- Handle tenant management for the company’s real estate business, including new contracts, renewals, and terminations.
- Manage rent collection, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records for each tenant.
- Ensure compliance with lease terms and follow up on overdue payments.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams or property management for tenant-related issues.
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare and submit periodic financial summaries and management reports.
- Liaise with the management team regarding cash flow, budget utilization, and expense control.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing required financial documentation.
- Collaborate with subsidiaries to consolidate financial statements and ensure consistency in accounting practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the UAE.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple entities and handle confidential information with integrity.
- Valid UAE Driving License is required.

- Experience in real estate accounting or property management.
- Familiarity with ISO or internal control frameworks.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
