Overview
Doorstep is seeking a sharp, driven Real Estate Acquisitions Manager to lead seller conversations and convert opportunities into signed contracts. This is a front-line, revenue-generating role focused on working directly with homeowners, evaluating deals quickly, and negotiating win-win outcomes.
This position is ideal for someone who understands real estate investing, thrives on the phone, and can confidently guide sellers through a simple, transparent selling process. You will play a critical role in driving deal flow and directly impacting company growth.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound seller leads and conduct discovery calls with homeowners
- Qualify opportunities by understanding property condition, seller motivation, timeline, and price expectations
- Analyze deals at a high level to determine viability and offer ranges (no complex underwriting required)
- Present offers clearly and professionally, addressing seller objections and concerns
- Negotiate purchase agreements and secure signed contracts
- Maintain accurate notes, follow-ups, and pipeline stages within the CRM
- Work closely with marketing and dispositions teams to ensure smooth handoffs after contract
- Follow up consistently with warm leads who are not ready to sell immediately
- Maintain a deep understanding of Doorstep’s buying criteria, process, and value proposition
Qualifications
- Proven experience in real estate acquisitions, wholesaling, or investor sales
- Strong phone presence with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly
- Confident negotiator with a track record of getting contracts signed
- Comfortable discussing pricing, timelines, and property condition with homeowners
- Familiarity with CRMs (GoHighLevel, Podio, REsimpli, Salesforce, or similar)
- Self-motivated, coachable, and performance-driven
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a fast-moving team
- Real-world sales results matter more than formal education
