Full Job Description
Asset Coordinators are responsible for supporting the efforts of tenured staff in managing our portfolio of residential mortgage loans. The initial focus and primary job function will be split between assisting the Asset Management team and the REO Closing team. The objective of the Asset Coordinator is to support the Asset Management group in the resolution and liquidation of loans in a manner that generates the greatest possible revenue with the highest efficiency and speed—while always considering the borrower’s interests and striving to place them in a better situation than before GITSIT acquired the loan.
Position Requirements:
- Exercise sound judgment and demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills are essential.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to quickly gain familiarity with the end-to-end Single Point of Contact (SPOC) relationship between the borrower and the firm.
- Experience with Deed-in-Lieu transactions and Title processes is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain regular, consistent, and predictable attendance.
- Willingness to proactively establish and maintain contact with delinquent accounts.
- Ability to maintain professional independence while collaborating with other business units.
- Skill in prioritizing multiple projects and managing shifting workloads efficiently.
- Deliver high-quality, efficient operational support to both internal business partners and external borrowers/clients.
- Support Asset Management with the review and facilitation of Deed-in-Lieu agreements, coordinating title reviews, and ensuring clear title prior to liquidation or REO transition.
Experience:
- Previous experience in client services or customer service roles is preferred.
- Strong typing skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel are required.
- Experience in real estate title research, curative work, and Deed-in-Lieu documentation is highly valued.
- A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
