Oversee the performance of the portfolio, ensuring investments are aligned with client objectives, risk tolerances, and market conditions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage asset allocations, identifying opportunities for value enhancement and risk mitigation.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide recommendations to optimize returns, minimize risks, and ensure compliance with the fund's objectives.
- Direct the leasing, property management, and other operational aspects to maintain asset value and performance.
- Identify and assess investment opportunities in real estate markets, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties.
- Lead due diligence processes for acquisitions, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessments.
- Negotiate terms of investments, joint ventures, and partnerships, ensuring favourable outcomes for the fund.
- Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to execute investment transactions and maintain ongoing relationships with external stakeholders (e.g., property brokers, lenders, and legal advisors).
- Build and maintain financial models to assess the financial viability of real estate investments and ensure sound decision-making.
- Track and report on portfolio performance, analysing key metrics such as yield, capital appreciation, and operational expenses.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management, investors, and clients that outline portfolio performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations.
- Perform valuations of real estate assets, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on portfolio performance, new investments, market conditions, and strategic changes.
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reports, ensuring that clients are informed about the performance of their real estate investments.
- Address client inquiries and concerns regarding investment performance, market conditions, and future strategies.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate exposure to market volatility, interest rate changes, and other external factors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, managing legal risks associated with real estate investments.
- Develop and maintain risk policies and strategies, including strategies for managing tenant defaults, market downturns, and property devaluation.
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the real estate investment team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and legal, to ensure smooth execution of real estate transactions.
- Provide guidance and insights to senior management on market trends, strategic decisions, and portfolio performance.
- Comply with the corporate information security policies & procedures relevant to the role.
- Preserve the: confidentiality of information by promising that data should only be accessed by authorized people.
- Integrity of the information by safeguarding the accuracy and completeness of information and processing methods.
- Availability of information, by ensuring that users under their control have access to information and associated assets when required.
- Protect organizational assets (information, software, hardware) against compromise.
- Comply with Data Protection and Intellectual Property Rights legislation valid in KSA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
A master's degree is a plus.
