Job description

A market leader in real estate transaction services is seeking a Real Estate Processor to join our team. We are seeking a skilled real estate processor to join our growing company. The ideal candidate is experienced in real estate transactions, highly organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service. As a Processor, this team member will manage real estate files from contract to closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely execution.

Our Expectations of our Team Members:

File Management:

  • Review purchase contracts, addenda, and lender instructions
  • Maintain organized and updated electronic file documentation

Title Work:

  • Examine title commitments
  • Identify and clear title issues (liens, judgments, encumbrances, etc.)
  • Request and process payoffs, surveys, HOA estoppels, and municipal lien searches
  • Coordinate with underwriters and legal counsel as needed

Communication & Coordination:

  • Communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and attorneys throughout the transaction
  • Schedule closings and provide updates to all parties
  • Prepare and send out closing confirmations and preliminary settlement statements
  • Follow up on outstanding items to avoid delays

Document Preparation:

  • Assist with the preparation of Closing Disclosures (CD) and ALTA/HUD statements
  • Ensure all closing documents are accurate and in compliance with lender and underwriter guidelines
  • Organize and verify funding and disbursement documentation

Compliance & Quality Control:

  • Ensure files meet all company, underwriter, and state compliance requirements
  • Monitor deadlines, contingencies, and escrow timelines
  • Handle confidential information securely and professionally

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a real estate title processing role
  • Strong knowledge of title insurance, real estate documents, and closing procedures
  • Familiarity with industry software (e.g., SoftPro) and the Microsoft Office environment
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
