Job Overview

Awen Solutions Group is seeking a Realty Specialist to join our team. This is a remote real estate position focused on federal property leasing, acquisition, management, and disposal projects. You’ll play a key role in supporting real property transactions, due diligence, and compliance with federal property management regulations. Depending on experience, this position can flex between:

  • Entry/Mid-Level Realty Specialist (2+ years of experience)
  • Senior Realty Specialist (10+ years of experience, subject matter expert)

Responsibilities

  • Support real property transactions for federal clients, including leasing, acquisition, disposal, and due diligence
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and process gaps within real estate documentation and reporting
  • Review market research, chain of title, Yellow Book appraisals, and ALTA surveys for federal land acquisitions
  • Maintain and reconcile electronic records for real property transactions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field (experience in federal property management may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • Realty Specialist: 2+ years in federal real property leasing and/or acquisition
  • Senior Realty Specialist: 10+ years in federal real property leasing and/or acquisition
  • Familiarity with the Federal Property Management Regulations (FMR) (41 CFR Chapter 102) and the GSA Leasing Desk Guide is highly desirable
  • Previous work as a warranted federal Realty Specialist (1170 series) or other warranted individual with leasing experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint

Compensation & Benefit

  • Salary: $70,000–$105,000, based on experience and level
