Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Kharghar
Department: Front Office / OPD
Reporting to: Hospital Administrator / Front Office Manager
Experience: 1–4 years (experience in hospital or healthcare preferred)
Employment Type: Full-time (must be open to rotational or night shifts if required)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in a polite and professional manner.
  • Register new patients and manage appointments for consultants, OPD, and diagnostics.
  • Answer telephone calls promptly; handle inquiries or direct them to the concerned department.
  • Maintain patient records, update information in the hospital management software/EMR.
  • Guide patients on billing, insurance documentation, and other administrative procedures.
  • Coordinate with departments like nursing, lab, radiology, and pharmacy for smooth patient flow.
  • Ensure waiting areas and front desk are clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Collect and record feedback from patients regarding services.
  • Handle complaints calmly and escalate to Admin/Manager when needed.
  • Manage shift handovers and maintain logs of daily activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Hospital Administration or related field).
  • 1–4 years of experience in a hospital or clinic front desk role.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with hospital software (e.g., MedSys, Insta, or similar).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and local language.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a patient-friendly attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Presentable with a pleasant personality.
  • Experience handling billing or TPA coordination is a plus.
  • Willingness to work night shifts or weekends if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
