Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Register patients and update their personal and insurance information in the system
  • Check patients in and out
  • Verify insurance coverage and collect co-payments when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and organized front-desk and waiting area
  • Coordinate patient flow with nurses and other medical staff
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail, faxes, and emails
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information
  • Ensure confidentiality by following HIPAA and hospital policies
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical office (preferred)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in computer systems and basic office software
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (a plus)
  • Professional and compassionate demeanor

Work Schedule

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
