Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team at Bell Minor Home, a Skilled Nursing Facility Financial Services Office in Gainesville, GA. As the first point of contact for our facility, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to visitors, patients, and vendors while maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage the telephone and switchboard, operating the paging/telephone system as required, answering calls timely and courteously, and directing calls promptly and accurately

  • Assist visitors upon arrival to the facility, greeting them courteously, providing directions, and ensuring they sign in

  • Demonstrate customer service skills in every interaction via phone or in person, maintaining a neat and orderly work area, and focusing attention on the front entrance

  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned, including administrative tasks, filing, data entry, and ordering supplies

  • Attend in-service education programs and maintain familiarity with facility policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Organized and detailed in work performance

  • Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience

  • Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility

  • Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements

  • Ability to perform Essential Duties as outlined above

Work Environment:

  • This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, on-site

  • The facility expects employees to promote an atmosphere of teamwork and hospitality and comfort for its residents
