Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable and professional Receptionist to work at a high-profile company's fitness center located in Boston, MA.
What you will do:

Manage day to day membership operations for the fitness center, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all members.

Track, maintain, and report on membership data to support accurate records and operational insights.

Greet members and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming environment.

Address member and guest questions, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to leadership when appropriate.

Handle front desk administrative tasks, including account inquiries, membership updates, and payment processing.

Support facility standards by completing regular cleanliness and safety walkthroughs and assisting with inventory management for supplies and retail items.

Manage the fitness center’s social media presence across platforms such as Instagram and Facebook, creating engaging content that promotes programs and offerings.

Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to inform content decisions and continuous improvement.

Coordinate the member newsletter, including gathering updates, compiling information, and supporting communication needs.

Assist with locker room operations, including annual clean-outs and ongoing locker assignments.

Lead training for new team members, using established training guides and providing continued coaching for existing staff as needed.

Verify member eligibility by reviewing incoming registrations and supporting documentation.

Contribute to the development of materials for quarterly business reviews and other operational reporting.

Administer, track, and collect data for annual member satisfaction surveys to support service improvement.
What we are looking for:

Someone who is available to work (Monday - Friday) 8:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour break included).

Prior experience as a receptionist, or related customer service environment required.

Ability to network, engage and interact with all clients, guests and members.

Strong customer service, organization and communication skills.

Competence with basic computer skills, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web applications.

If applicable to your location, you may be required to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (company will provide reimbursement in accordance with company’s policies).
