Job Description

Safir Doha Hotel is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Receptionist / Front Office Agent to join our Front Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out procedures, and assisting guests with their inquiries to create a positive hotel experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest requests.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and billing information in the hotel system.
  • Ensure the reception area is organized and presentable at all times.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Front Office or customer service, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Presentable, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a hotel Front Office.
  • Knowledge of PMS systems (Opera or similar) is an advantage.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
