Receptionist

Job Summary
Position Overview
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for The Walton Firm, providing a professional and welcoming experience for clients, vendors, and team members. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills to manage the front desk and support the daily operations of a fast-paced tax law firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients, visitors, and callers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and messages promptly.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and consultations.
  • Maintain the front desk and reception area to ensure a professional environment.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Assist with client with onboarding and off boarding by providing forms and ensuring documents are properly routed.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and staff as needed.
  • Maintain office supplies and order replacements when necessary.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive client and firm information at all times.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of receptionist, front desk, or administrative experience (law firm experience a must).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn legal CRM systems (PP preferred).
  • Professional demeanor, punctuality, and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle confidential information with discretion.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
