Receptionist

Washington's premier vision correction practice, King LASIK / K2 Vision, is seeking a high-energy, patient-focused Receptionist to join our Tukwila team.

This is a fast-paced, patient-facing position that serves as the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate thrives in a busy environment, enjoys helping people, and can confidently manage high call volumes while delivering exceptional customer service.

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Primary location: Tukwila, WA
  • Must be willing to travel to and support other locations, including Lynnwood and Tacoma, if needed
  • Must have Saturday and/or Sunday availability approximately once per month to support occasional weekend surgery schedules and 1-day post-operative exams.

What You'll DoFront Desk & Patient Experience

  • Greet and check in patients, creating a welcoming and professional environment
  • Manage patient scheduling, confirmations, and appointment coordination
  • Ensure a smooth and positive patient experience from arrival through checkout
  • Collect and update patient information accurately
  • Verify insurance and maintain accurate patient records

High-Volume Phone Support

  • Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls
  • Schedule consultations, post-operative visits, and follow-up appointments
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding procedures, pricing, financing, and scheduling
  • Route calls appropriately and provide exceptional customer service with every interaction
  • Monitor voicemails and return calls promptly

Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Process payments and assist with financing applications as needed
  • Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and team members
  • Assist with general office operations and administrative tasks

Team Support

  • Collaborate with providers, technicians, and patient counselors to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Assist with special projects and office initiatives as needed
  • Support other King LASIK / K2 Vision locations when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous medical office, ophthalmology, optometry, dental, or healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience working in a front desk, reception, or patient coordinator role
  • Experience with high-volume phone systems and scheduling
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
