Receptionist & Customer Experience Coordinator

The Nail Lodge – Abu Dhabi, Al Reem Island

The Nail Lodge is looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team.

This role is much more than a front desk position. You will be responsible for ensuring our clients enjoy an exceptional experience from the moment they book an appointment until after they leave the salon.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience

  • Welcome clients warmly and create a premium salon experience.
  • Manage the complete customer journey:
  • Appointment booking and confirmations
  • Client arrival and check-in
  • Service coordination during the visit
  • Checkout and payment
  • Follow-up after the visit
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and encourage repeat visits.

Reception & Client Services

  • Manage appointments, bookings, and walk-in clients.
  • Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails.
  • Assist clients with inquiries about services, packages, memberships, and promotions.
  • Maintain accurate client records and profiles.

Sales & Client Engagement

  • Promote salon services, packages, memberships, and retail products.
  • Encourage clients to follow The Nail Lodge on social media.
  • Support clients in using the salon mobile application for bookings and services.

Daily Operations

  • Monitor daily salon operations and service flow.
  • Coordinate between clients and technicians.
  • Ensure appointments run on time.
  • Support smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Monitor service materials and report shortages when required.

Hygiene & Salon Standards

  • Ensure the reception and waiting areas are always clean and presentable.
  • Support the team in maintaining high hygiene and sanitation standards.

Administration & Reporting

  • Process payments and billing.
  • Assist with daily reports and operational tracking.
  • Support management with observations and recommendations to improve the customer experience.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, salon, hospitality, or similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable using computer systems, booking platforms, and digital tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Arabic and English speaking (required).
  • Experience in beauty, wellness, salon, or hospitality industries.
  • Sales-oriented mindset and passion for customer service.
  • Friendly, positive, and professional personality.
