Job Summary:
A Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers. They provide administrative support, manage front-desk operations, and help ensure smooth day-to-day office activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
- Maintain visitor logs and office records.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information to clients and customers.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.
- Coordinate meeting rooms and office supplies.
- Support other departments with clerical duties as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
