Job Description – Receptionist
We are looking for a warm, professional, and service-oriented Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our salon/spa. The Receptionist will manage the front desk, handle client check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and actively promote services and upgrades to enhance the client experience and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement
- Greet and welcome clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage client check-in and check-out efficiently.
- Handle bookings, cancellations, and schedule adjustments with accuracy.
- Provide clear information about services, promotions, and packages.
- Upsell and upgrade services (e.g., recommending add-ons or premium treatments) to maximize client satisfaction and revenue.
- Cash Handling & Transactions
- Process payments via cash, credit card, or other approved methods.
- Issue receipts, track daily sales, and reconcile end-of-day cash.
- Follow company policies for handling refunds, discounts, or vouchers.
- Front Desk & Administrative Duties
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a courteous manner.
- Maintain an organized reception area that reflects brand standards.
- Manage client records, maintain confidentiality, and ensure accuracy of data.
- Coordinate with therapists/technicians to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle mail, deliveries, and other front-desk administrative tasks.
- Customer Service Excellence
- Address client queries and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
- Provide after-service care information when necessary.
- Ensure client satisfaction from arrival to departure.
Qualifications & Skills
- Female candidates only
- Fluent in Arabic & English (both spoken and written – mandatory)
- With or without UAE experience
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in receptionist, front desk, or customer service roles
- Proficient in English; additional language skills are an advantage
- Computer literate (booking systems, MS Office, POS operations)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional appearance with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Details:
- Working Hours: 9 hours + 1 hour break
- Salary: AED 3,500 + Commission
