Receptionist / Front Desk Executive / Insurance Coordinator

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Receptionist located in Dubai. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for managing appointment scheduling, handling phone calls, and performing various receptionist duties. The role also involves greeting and assisting patients, maintaining medical records, and ensuring the efficient operation of the medical office.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Patient Handling:

- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner.

- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar.

- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system.

- Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and guide patients through procedures.

- Ensure patient check-in and check-out processes are smooth and efficient.

Insurance Coordination:

- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage before appointments.

- Take approvals of patients.

- Submit pre-approval requests and follow up for timely responses.

- Explain insurance coverage, approvals, and exclusions to patients.

- Coordinate with insurance companies via email/phone & our submission/resubmission team.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and changes.

Administrative Support:

- Maintain confidentiality of patient and insurance data.

- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and the billing department.

- Ensure compliance with clinic policies and insurance regulations

- Assist in daily reporting and documentation related to insurance and front desk operations.
