Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or personnel.
  • Register patients and update personal and insurance information accurately.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide necessary information regarding hospital services.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff for patient-related activities.
  • Manage patient files and maintain confidentiality of all medical and personal information.
  • Collect consultation fees or deposits and issue receipts as needed.
  • Assist with admission and discharge procedures when required.
  • Maintain visitor logs and monitor access to restricted areas.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and hospital management software (if applicable).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage.
  • Fluency in local language and English.

Working Conditions:

  • Shift-based work, including weekends and holidays.
  • May involve extended periods of sitting and use of a computer.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
