Penn Color is looking for 2 Part-Time Receptionists . We are looking for a welcoming and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our employees, customers, and visitors. This role plays an important part in creating a positive first impression by greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, coordinating visitor check-in, and supporting the smooth day-to-day flow of the front office. The Receptionist helps maintain a professional, secure, and friendly environment while assisting with visitor coordination, mail and deliveries, and supporting customer visits and meetings.

This role reports to the VP, Human Resources at the corporate headquarters in Hatfield, PA.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project a friendly welcoming attitude to all staff and visitors
  • Answers and transfers phone calls, or relays messages.
  • Greets and registers visitors, informs employees of the visitor's arrival, and directs visitors to appropriate meeting room.
  • Maintains Visitor System (SPLAN)
  • Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
  • Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
  • Order lunches for customer visits.
  • Plan & coordinate all employee events with collaboration from HR.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Well organized, dedicated, reliable and flexible.
  • A self-starter capable of multi-taking and prioritizing.
  • Ability to take initiative in completing assigned work and projects.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
