About Turning 65 Solutions

Turning 65 Solutions is a locally owned Medicare insurance agency in New Braunfels, TX. We help individuals navigate Medicare enrollment, Medicare Advantage plans, Medigap plans, and Part D coverage with personal, face-to-face service.

We are seeking a Receptionist / Social Media Manager to support daily office operations and manage our company’s social media presence.

This role combines front desk receptionist responsibilities with hands-on social media content management and community engagement.

Job Summary

The Receptionist / Social Media Manager will:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients
  • Provide administrative support to a Medicare insurance team
  • Create and manage social media content
  • Support local marketing and community outreach efforts

This is a part-time, in-office position in New Braunfels, Texas.

Receptionist Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional manner
  • Answer incoming phone calls and route appropriately
  • Schedule and confirm Medicare appointments
  • Maintain front desk organization and office presentation
  • Perform data entry and maintain client records
  • Scan, file, and organize documents
  • Assist with seminar and event preparation
  • Process incoming mail and deliveries
  • Provide administrative support to licensed Medicare agents

Social Media Manager Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule social media posts (Facebook, Google Business Profile, YouTube)
  • Draft captions aligned with company voice and Medicare marketing guidelines
  • Design simple graphics using Canva
  • Monitor and respond to social media comments/messages
  • Assist in collecting Google Reviews and client testimonials
  • Promote local seminars and community events
  • Maintain a content calendar
  • Track engagement metrics and provide monthly reporting
  • Ensure all marketing complies with CMS Medicare marketing regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience as a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or Front Desk Coordinator preferred
  • 1+ year experience managing business social media accounts preferred
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong phone and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Office
  • Email systems
  • Scheduling software
  • Facebook Business Manager
  • Canva (preferred)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Professional demeanor when working with seniors
  • Ability to multitask in a small office environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in insurance, Medicare, healthcare, or financial services office
  • Experience working with senior clients
  • Basic marketing or digital content creation background

Compensation

Hourly pay based on experience.
