Job Overview
As the receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the company and you will provide administrative support across the organization. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all administration tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. This position performs typical receptionist tasks and provides accounting and administrative support as needed.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
Utilize a multi-phone line system to transfer calls to the appropriate person.
Maintains safe and clean reception area.
Contributes to team effort by accurately completed assignments as needed.
Helping with Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable.
Document management including sorting, filing and storage.
Various data entry functions.
Working on special projects.
Essential Functions
Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
Job Skills & Requirements
Excellent Listening and Communication Skills: ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients, vendors, and other employees.
Organizational Skills: ability to organize and manage workload efficiently.
Computer Skills: proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), and have the ability and computer literacy to learn new programs quickly.
Experience: accounting experience preferred, but not required.
