Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelors or equivalent from an HEC recognized University with 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
Desirable:
- Masters(preferably in Mass Communication/Business Administration) with 8-10 years of experience in the relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering ,Screening and forwarding incoming phone calls(SOP to be drafted)
- Receiving and sorting daily mail(read SOP for Dispatch)
- Facilitating gate clearance/ entry for all type of guests.
- Directing visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
- Maintaining security by following procedures & monitoring logbook
- Maintaining telecommunication system by following manufacturers instruction for house phone and console operation.
- Maintaining safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations(Policy)
- Maintaining operation/ alarm diffusion of fire alarm systems.
- Ensuring smooth lift operations and communicating to PMO in case of fault.
- Checking proper functioning of (elevators) & Access doors(front & back) upon assuming shift (rear door and lifts to remain shut during night shift).
- Ensuring generator backup in case of scheduled or unscheduled power outage.
- Staying vigilant about lift/elevator operations to avoid any untoward incident.
- Performing other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing etc.
- Keeping record of vehicles of NSTP tenants and monitor parking area through CCTV monitor.
- Managing//giving relevant instruction to Security Guard a/w sharing written instructions file upon change of guards.
- complete building & surrounding area, managing office keys, closing unnecessary lights, checking meeting rooms/conf rooms etc.
- Ensuring that the systems ,equipment, property of NSTP is safe and noting/informing reporting staff/officers in case of any incident.
- Monitoring CCTV displays and staying vigilant for any corrective/preventive action.
- Issuance of gate pass by consulting Adm Supervisor for allowing companies to take ant equipment outside NUST.
- Noting down complaints for Urgent nature only and managing troubleshooting by calling relevant person. Noting down complaints carried forward from preceding evening/night shift.
Ensuring building perimeter/building inside patrolling by security guard on regular intervals( 1 per hour/2 per hour depending upon the security situation
- Maintaining tenants employee record.
- Maintaining record of Meeting room usage.
- Maintaining the record of labour work permit and only allowing/ issuing work permit for evening shift when okayed by the management work permit to be issued on days when a VIP visit is Scheduled.
- Managing and updating digital standee placed at the reception.
- Maintaining log/first aid box usage.
Having complete emergency contact number lists displayed at a visible location and dialing relevant person in case of emergency.
- Maintaining Cleaning Services record and sharing with Adm Clerk on 1st of every month.
- Performs any other tsk assigned by the Seniors.
- Share situation report at day end.
- Maintain a lost & found register.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, hi-volume work environment
Terms & Conditions:

- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations.
- Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
- Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
