Reciprocating Engines Engineer

We are looking for a "Reciprocating Engines Engineer " to be assigned to our “Technical Administration” department located in İstanbul HQ

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• Have a bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from universities,
• At least 3 years of experience working with reciprocating engines (e.g. gas, diesel or dual fuel)
• Experience in engine design, testing or field operation,
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, combustion and fluid mechanics,
• Experience in machine monitoring and performance analysis,
• Possesses strong analytical skills, attention to details, and has experience of a methodical approach to solving technical problems,
• Having experience in making clear, precise technical reports,
• Having the ability to work independently when necessary, willing to work with management teams with a high level of communication.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure,
• Knowledge of using MS Office programs and SAP,
• Have a professional level of written and spoken English,
• No obstacle to travel abroad,

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

• Investigating, managing and resolving relevant complex technical and operational issues at our power plants.
• Providing technical support for troubleshooting on 4-stroke machines.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and conduct site surveys.
• Reviewing technical documentation, including maintenance manuals and manufacturer bulletins.
• Collecting and analyzing feedback from the site to identify trends and issues.
• Suggest improvements to increase product performance and reliability.
• Managing engineering projects related to engines, including developments, improvements and new installations.
• Ensuring project milestones are delivered on time and comply with budget and quality standards.
• Staying updated on industry standards, regulations and developments in 4-stroke machine technology.
• To ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
