We are seeking a Mechanical Proposal Engineer to work at our Vadistanbul headquarters in Istanbul.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s degree from reputable universities, min. 3 years of experience for similar positions,
• Having experience as a Site Engineer or Technical Office Engineer in refinery, petrochemical, or power plant construction projects is a plus.
• Advanced computer skills and proficient in the use of MS Office programs, especially advanced excel skill is a must.
• Being proficient at working to tight deadlines and be able to prioritize tasks,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Turkish and English,
• Problem solver, analytical thinking, with an ability to query and research,
• Team player, result-oriented with strong planning and organization skills,
• Excellent time management skills, rigorous and detail-oriented,

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assisting proposal activities including the review of proposal requirements, preparing documentation, cost estimating, creating schedules and other requirements,
• Establishing, maintaining, improving and ensuring the accuracy of proposals database and records,
• Attending clarification meetings with Client when required,
• Being familiar with the general specifications and market requirements.
• Carrying out technical presentation of project execution plans and providing clarifications and resolving queries,
• Attending site visits as needed to become acquainted with site conditions and take account of these in the technical proposal,
• Collecting material and subcontractor prices, preparing price quotations, creating price analyses and preparing business plans,
• Preparation of cost analyses and budget reports, if needed.
