Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Reconstruction/Repair Project Manager to lead and oversee complex reconstruction and repair projects within the construction industry. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of reconstruction and repair projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop detailed project schedules to monitor progress and identify potential delays proactively.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to establish clear communication channels and project expectations.
- Utilize construction estimates to prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and manage project budgets effectively.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and quality standards are maintained throughout all phases of work.
- Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), daily reports, and inspection logs.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality, progress tracking, and compliance.
- Attend project meetings to coordinate schedules, resolve issues promptly, and keep all stakeholders informed of project status.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects by applying effective time management strategies and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing reconstruction or repair projects within the construction industry; prior heavy civil or infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of insurance claim processes required.
- Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling, contract management, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Hands-on construction site experience with a solid understanding of safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders across diverse projects.
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety training or PMP (Project Management Professional) are preferred but not required. Pay: $59,053.51 - $85,000.00 per year
